I got a call from a customer today. Mr.Brummell informed me I had installed a boxed newel and Mediterranean type balusters for him a couple of years ago.

I heading back tomorrow to install crown molding in their master bathroom and family room. The stair post is exactly how I installed it. Strong and beautiful for years to come!

Mr.Bonser did a thorough search for finish carpenters in Midlothian Virginia to help with his stair remodel. Mr.Bonser informed me that after vetting several other contractors he decided to go with The Finishing Company. Mr.Bonser concluded that the other contractors simple did not have the proven experience necessary to complete the job. This week I took a trip to the White Oaks subdivision near Varina, Henrico, Virginia. I completely sanded down the Delaney family’s stair railing and applied a darker stain and clear coat. I searched for about 4 months trying to find a company that I thought would be reasonable in cost and one that would answer all of my questions (and I always have a lot!). Brian was awesome before he even started the work. I had so many questions and he was very responsive and then the end result!!!!! I am so happy with the work and the time he took to cut and install each piece was impressive. I suffer from anxiety when the house isn't clean. I actually can't wait until contractors leave so I can get it back to "my normal", but Brian cleaned up better than any contractor that I have ever dealt with. I was able to focus on the craftsmanship and beauty of my project after he left instead of focusing on cleaning (I know that sounds crazy, but it's true). I am so satisfied and I still look at it everyday as if it were the first day. I would recommend this company before any other in the DC Metro area. Thanks for an amazing experience.

Brian did an excellent job replacing my wooden balusters with wrought iron on my stairs. He even reinforced a stair post that had been wobbly for the last couple years. He left the area probably cleaner than it was when he arrived and a few times he cleaned as he went. Brian was very professional and polite. I live in Woodbridge so I was quite pleased to have such a great quality trim carpenter willing to travel. Brian and his brother came in and did chair rail and shadow boxing in her foyer and stairs. They were fast, efficient and didn't cut any corners (no pun intended). I'm very pleased with the outcome, so much so that he's coming back to do crown molding in our whole downstairs.
